Amplitude Experiment

Experimentation suite built into Amplitude's product analytics platform with feature flags and targeting.

Overview

Amplitude Experiment is the experimentation module within the Amplitude digital analytics platform, providing A/B testing and feature flag capabilities tightly integrated with Amplitude's product analytics. The platform allows teams to run experiments and immediately analyze results against any metric tracked in Amplitude.

Amplitude Experiment includes feature flags for controlled rollouts, A/B testing with statistical analysis, and user targeting based on behavioral cohorts defined in Amplitude Analytics. The Starter tier includes core analytics, basic session replay, unlimited feature flags, and up to 10 saved charts. The Plus tier starts at $49/month and scales with monthly tracked users (MTUs).

The key advantage of Amplitude Experiment is its native integration with Amplitude's behavioral analytics — teams can target experiments to specific behavioral cohorts, measure impact on any tracked metric, and analyze results without switching tools. Amplitude relaunched experimentation and added feature flags in late 2025.
